About the company

We work for the businesses nobody else calls back.

Independent businesses are held to the same standards as the chains — same card fees, same customer expectations, same phone that has to be answered — without any of the same support. When something goes wrong with a card machine at four o'clock on a Saturday, a chain has a department. A café has whoever's behind the counter.

That gap is the reason this company exists.

We help independent UK businesses take card payments on competitive terms, and we build the websites that bring customers through the door. Two different jobs, same purpose: making sure a good SME business isn't losing ground to a bigger one for reasons that have nothing to do with how good it is.

A quiet independent London high street at dawn.

What we believe

How we see it.

01

Money that leaves the business should be worth it

Card processing costs are one of those line items that quietly grows and never gets looked at again. Plenty of businesses are on terms they agreed years ago and haven't questioned since.

We'll look at what you're paying now and tell you honestly what we see. If we can put you on more competitive terms, we'll say so. If you're already on a decent arrangement, we'll say that too — and we'd rather tell you that than sell you something you don't need.

02

A website is a shopfront, not a formality

Most people decide whether to visit a business before they ever set foot in it. They check the hours, look at the menu, see whether anyone's kept the place up to date. A site that's slow, dated or unreadable on a phone loses those customers silently — you never find out they were interested.

Getting that right can help you win more of the people who are already looking for you, and it builds something that belongs to you rather than to a social media platform that changes its rules every year.

03

SMEs deserve the same standard of service as big ones

Not the same scale. The same standard. Someone who turns up, explains things in plain English, does what they said, and answers the phone afterwards.

How we work

The way we do things.

In person, wherever possible

We come to the business. You learn more in an hour behind someone's counter than in a month of emails, and it means what we recommend actually fits how you work rather than how we assumed you work.

Plain English, always

Interchange, MMSC, chargebacks, authorisation fees. The industry is full of language designed to make simple things sound complicated. We'll explain what each thing is and what it costs you — and if we can't explain it clearly then we don't understand it well enough ourselves.

Nothing hidden in the small print

You'll know the price, the length of the agreement and what's included before you sign anything. We tell you the awkward parts up front — the contract length, promo-period changes, what a chargeback costs — because you'll find out eventually, and it's better coming from us.

We're still here afterwards

The sale isn't the end of the relationship. Most of our work comes from businesses that recommended us to the shop next door, and that only happens if we're still picking up the phone six months later.

What we do

Two services.

Service 01

Card payments

We help independent businesses get set up to take card payments: choosing the right machine, completing the application and verification checks, installing it on site, training your staff, and staying contactable afterwards. There's no charge from us at any stage.

Service 02

Websites

We design and build websites for SMEs — from a simple site that makes you easy to find, to an online shop or booking system, with practical AI tools where they earn their place. We can look after it for you afterwards, or show you how to run it yourself.

Who we're for

The businesses we work with.

Mostly London and the South East, though we'll travel for the right project. What they have in common isn't the trade — it's that the person who owns the business is usually the person standing in it.

Come and have a look at us

The first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

We'll come to you, look at what you're paying now or what your website is doing, and tell you what we think. If the answer is that you're fine as you are, that's what we'll tell you.
